- Murabaha via the partner (External partner: licensed finance partner. Shown only in the clinic, pharmacy and trader journeys.): The buyer asks the licensed finance partner to buy the goods and agrees to share its file with it. The partner reviews and decides. If it agrees, the partner first buys the goods from the supplier, owns them and bears their risk. Once it owns the goods, the partner sells them to the buyer by murabaha, with the cost and profit fixed and stated in the contract. Instalments are paid under the finance partner's contract. The goods are delivered once the partner authorises, with Dajin coordinating delivery. Planned: We plan to add more licensed finance partners and more Sharia-compliant products over time.

- No money passes through Dajin.
A pharmacy restocks.
- 1Nasheet prepares a reorder draft from history.
- 2The pharmacy reviews and sends it.
- 3The supplier confirms.
- 4The delivery receipt is recorded, and so is any discrepancy.
A vet clinic needs stock.
- 1The clinic asks the licensed finance partner to buy the goods and agrees to share its file with it.
- 2The partner reviews and decides.
- 3If it agrees, the partner first buys the goods from the supplier, owns them and bears their risk.
- 4Once it owns the goods, the partner sells them to the buyer by murabaha, with the cost and profit fixed and stated in the contract.
- 5Instalments are paid under the finance partner's contract.
- 6The goods are delivered once the partner authorises, with Dajin coordinating delivery.

Dajin's current licensed finance partner is Abu Dhabi Islamic Microfinance Company (Arzaq). It offers murabaha financing for buying goods to eligible customers on its own terms. Dajin is not a lender; financing decisions and terms rest with the partner alone.
A farm organises its needs.
- 1The owner records what they need.
- 2Asks Nasheet and gets a draft answer to confirm with a vet.
- 3A Dajin Ambassador can visit and coordinate; professional decisions stay with the vet.
A trader orders with confidence.
- 1Sees known suppliers.
- 2Orders and tracks delivery.
- 3Every invoice and receipt sits in one record.
An Ambassador in the field (pilot).
- 1A vet graduate joins Dajin Ambassadors.
- 2Visits clinics and pharmacies and helps them get started.
- 3Coordinates only: no diagnosis, no prescribing.
A business buyer orders chicken.
- 1Sends a purchase order with an agreed specification.
- 2Dajin connects buyers with suppliers and cooperatives; the supplier is the seller.
- 3The e-invoice and delivery are recorded, and so is any discrepancy.
The supplier is always the seller. In murabaha, the supplier sells the goods to the licensed finance partner; the partner owns them and bears their risk, then sells them to the buyer under its contract. Dajin coordinates delivery and is never the seller.

Every solution started by hand with minimum tech; today we're building it with technology.
Contract farming: the idea behind our model
The idea is simple: every growing cycle starts knowing who it sells to, at a price agreed in advance, so nobody in the chain loses to surprises. We're building it step by step.
Contract farming, step by step
- Business buyer
- Slaughterhouse
- Dajin coordinates
1 Where we started: B2B slaughtered chicken
- Where we started: B2B supply of slaughtered chicken.
- Dajin connects buyers with suppliers and cooperatives; the supplier is the seller.
Dajin coordinates delivery; it isn't the seller or the financier. Instalments are paid under the finance partner's contract.
Inspired by Brazil and others
- 1 · Where we started: B2B supply of slaughtered chicken. Dajin connects buyers with suppliers and cooperatives; the supplier is the seller.
- 2 · Next: sourcing birds from farms for slaughter. The farm raises, the slaughterhouse receives under an agreement, and Dajin coordinates.
- 3 · The full model: the farm gets its inputs (chicks, feed, vet supplies) from suppliers, who are the sellers. All of it rests on an off-taker arrangement with a committed buyer for the output. A supplier can also be the off-taker.
3 · Planned: a licensed financier (a bank or non-bank finance company) buys the inputs from the supplier, owns them and bears their risk, then sells them to the farm by murabaha, with the cost and profit fixed in the contract. Instalments are paid under the financier's contract.
Dajin doesn't lend and isn't the seller.
